The Gastronomist Club are preparing to bring you the ultimate modern dinner party! This exclusive experience features a curated tasting menu with wine pairings. Tickets will soon be available for purchase through their website. They are a COVID-19 safe venue.
At Unita 4, they’re all about hand-rolled, fresh pasta! The menus come from Chef and Restaurateur Damiano Vecchio, who is passionate about creating delicious, freshly made pasta dishes and authentic pizzas for a very reasonable price. Their aim is to create an enjoyable destination, a place where families, friends and colleagues come together through their love of fresh pasta.
The pasta room offers you a chance to see the chefs turn freshly made dough into beautifully designed pasta. This room will also be an interactive space offering fresh pasta making classes to small groups.
The UK’s very first Dansaki Afro-Caribbean restaurant will bring an exciting new food and drink concept to the town.
Combining a tapas lounge, cosmopolitan bar and full service dining, Dansaki will serve an exquisite range of Afro-Caribbean and continental cuisine in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu will have exotic flare throughout and be a ‘complimentary mingling of traditional Afro-Caribbean and continental cuisine’. Ashford Picturehouse introduces a unique Cinema experience to the borough of Ashford. Continuing the Picturehouse legacy of bringing quality blockbusters, art-house film and regular and diverse programming strands.
Ashford Picturehouse features a spacious foyer and outdoor and indoor seating. A large auditorium is available for affordable private hires and community functions in a relaxed and stylish space. Picturehouse takes pride in serving delicious hot food, an extensive drink menu, indulgent treats and healthy snacks, making the cinema a perfect spot for food, film and socialising.
The cinema has six screens, half of which are capable of screening 3D titles. Ashford Picturehouse is also the first Picturehouse Cinema to have a laser projector. This uses the latest digital cinema technology and is more energy efficient than traditional projectors.
The cinema is fully wheelchair accessible with a lift and disabled parking bays. Every screen will have an infrared system to play audio-described tracks (when available). This offers voice commentary, through headphones provided, which describes the film to those who would benefit.

Temporarily closed
It’s with great sadness that Picturehouse, Elwick Place will be temporarily closing all cinemas from Friday 9 October.
At present there is no set date for re-opening, however they will continue to monitor the situation closely and will communicate any updates once film studios are able to bring their major film releases back to the big screen. They will also continue to follow government and health authority guidelines to ensure that upon reopening, the health and safety of our staff and customers remains their priority.
