Wasted Kitchen Workshop at Macknade

Wasted Kitchen are holding a special workshop at Macknade, Ashford on Friday 1st July,  educating customers about fermenting, pickling and reducing plastic and single-use packaging in the kitchen.

Taking place at the start of Plastic Free July and then as part of Macknade’s Sustainable September series, this workshop is a unique opportunity to learn from Katy at Wasted Kitchen about small and simple changes you can make in the home to reduce waste and to explore the joys of pickling & fermentation. Learn everything you need to know about pickles & ferments; from the basics of making them, how to use them, what they are and what the difference is between each one.

Discover the art of fermentation and enjoy plenty of tasters to try across a range of tangy, tasty, fermented food, packed full of beneficial vitamins, acids and flavour to look after your gut health!

Tickets are only £5pp and they can be redeemed against any purchase of Wasted Kitchen or MightyFineThings products in the Macknade, Ashford store that day.

Never fear, if you’re not lucky enough to bag a spot for the workshop, Wasted Kitchen will be joining Macknade in their Ashford store from 12.30-3pm the very same day offering samples from their range for you to try.
