About Elwick Place
Elwick Place is Ashford town centre’s flagship leisure and entertainment destination.
The pinnacle anchor point for Ashford’s leisure quarter, Elwick Place officially opened on Saturday 15 December 2018.
Located on the historically significant site of the town’s former Cattle Market, the development was designed by the award-winning Guy Hollaway Studio and delivered by Stanhope PLC in partnership with Ashford Borough Council
Elwick Place is proudly home to the country’s first ever new-build 1,000-seat, six-screen The Ashford Cinema, which stands alongside a 60-bed hotel, restaurant, cafè, bar, shop and gym units as well as a 282-space car park and The Piazza, a public entertainment and events space.
Located next to Elwick Road’s pioneering shared space, framed by the rolling green parkland of Victoria Park, mere steps from Bank Street and the town centre, and just five minutes’ walk from Ashford International train station, Elwick Place is the welcoming entertainment destination right at the heart of the community.
