The Stellar Acts Taking To The Stage At ASHFOOD! 2024

Taking place on Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30, 2024 (12 PM-6 PM on Saturday and 12 PM-4 PM on Sunday), ASHFOOD!, in association with headline sponsor Girlings Solicitors, and media partner insideKENT will bring together local food, drink, entertainment, and family fun to create an unforgettable weekend.

With just over one week to go, we are so excited to announce a few of the stellar acts that are due to take to the ASHFOOD! stage throughout the festivities…

DJ JG

DJ JG has over seven years of experience in the Mobile DJ industry, providing his unique services all across Kent. With access to over 100 million songs ranging from 50’s classics to the greatest modern hits, DJ JG plays tunes for everyone to enjoy. Using a crystal clear sound system and innovative lighting experiences, DJ JG revitalises every room with music – from discos and school fetes to weddings and birthday parties. 

Kelly Bourne

Kelly Bourne is an entertainer based in Tenterden with a sound heavily influenced by Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman. Providing everything from live acoustic performances to DJ services and event hosting, Kelly is undeniably a musical powerhouse. Having worked as an entertainer across the UK and abroad, Kelly now provides customised vocal coaching in Wittersham and Wye. You can also find her on July 26th at Studio 6 in Maidstone celebrating the release of her debut album, Cause of the Consequence

Paul Beven

Paul Beven is a singer-songwriter with over 20 years of gigging experience in his hometown of Ashford. With captivating vocals and acoustic guitar melodies, Paul is sure to showcase his talent on the Elwick Place stage. 

Lucy May Walker

Lucy May Walker is a Folkestone-based singer-songwriter whose original music has featured on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music and Love Island UK. Incredibly, her debut album Nothing Ever Stays The Same reached number one on the iTunes Singer / Songwriter chart last year. 

In addition to selling out headline shows of her own, Lucy has supported artists including Texas, Wet Wet Wet, Tony Hadley and Nerina Pallot. Lucy also hosts her own Writer’s Round at the Music Workshop Folkestone as well as the Music Industry Secrets… Spilled podcast. From busking on the streets of London to gaining over 6,000 monthly Spotify listeners, Lucy’s is certainly a voice to listen out for. 

Whiskey & Wine

Whiskey & Wine are an energetic four-piece band with an eclectic mix of covers, mash-ups and originals to get any audience in the groove. Performing at weddings, parties and corporate events, they have tunes for every occasion. No strangers to the Ashford area, you can often find them performing at Low Key Taproom, Valerie’s and The Platform Bar, Coachworks. With enough energy to light up any crowd, they’re definitely an act to have your dancing shoes on for.
