Hands up, who’s excited?
Join us at Elwick Place this weekend for a weekend packed full of great food, drink and entertainment as we host our first-ever food and drink festival Ashfood.
Confirmed food vendors include Margate’s renowned Cookie Man, who will serve some of his sweet delights, Ashford’s favourite Wild Souls, Kentish Meopham Wines, and more. Guests are invited to tuck into the array of produce from stalls from both external and internal Elwick Place residents, who will also be hosting various food and drink-related activities. Get active at Matches and participate in games while sampling their new menu; head to Leo & Sage for some of their homemade gelato and goodies, while Picturehouse will offer cold local beer from Curious Brewery! Elwick Place’s Snap Fitness will also provide nutritional and membership advice.
On Saturday the 1st, local artists including Roxanne Hicks, Tasha McCoy Music and The Rec will serenade the crowds, followed by a set by renowned Folkestone DJ Steve Collins, who will close the festival.
Sunday’s entertainment will start at noon and will welcome family-friendly performances from Hythe’s KM Dance, Towers Performing Arts group, dance and performing arts school Live 2 Dance, and the East Kent Chorus Choir. There will also be a face painter, FREE children’s crafts and a competition for the best selfie via social media.
The event is FREE to attend.
